Born in Canada (but holding citizenship in UK as well), I’ve travelled extensively for both personal and professional reasons. Over the past 4 years, I’ve demonstrated strengths in the “operationalisation” (no, that isn’t a real world) of strategy. In other words, leveraging the tools of integrative management and collaborative design, I help organisations deconstruct intangible and obscure strategy into understandable and actionable tasks for those who must implement strategy, all-the-while keeping a holistic view of the challenges & opportunities at every touch point the customer may have.
Over the past 18 months, I have seen a marked trend for including stakeholders not commonly included, such as customers and vendors, into this process, which has resulted in a better end- state. I’ve also been actively expanding my understanding of authentic customer experience design, using collaboration as the means to this, and technology (specfically Web 2.0) as a medium.
Personally, I’m an avid snowboarder and outdoors enthusiast. I greatly enjoy mountain biking an climbing, but honestly haven’t done to much here in the UK. Have been playing guitar since 1993, and (everyday) find new genres of music to explore. Been married since 2007 to my best friend, mentor and challenger. I’m at my best when slightly unsure of next steps, a little scared of what’s coming and surrounded by those who are passionate about their lives and contributions to others…
